Tom Hallett - Little Death
Born in 1994, Tom has come a long way from falling to sleep in front the washing machine. When he was a just baby, his Mum discovered that the noise helped to send him to sleep. Since then he has retained his love of (loud) noise as he started to enjoy music and learnt to play the drums during secondary school. From there he began jamming bands and initially got into Rock and metal. The Drums have remained a big influence in his music as Tom broadened his tastes and discovered dance and electronic whilst sharing music with friends in school, after which he quickly began to explore a much wider variety of music for himself. In his early teens he started composing and producing his own tracks on the computers in school and for his 16th birthday his Dad bought him his own music software. Since then Tom has not hesitated to develop and explore new genres and styles that continue to influence the music he produces. Tom regards the 24th July 2010 to be one of the biggest influences in his Music endeavours, when he watched The Prodigy play at Milton Keynes Bowl in front of 60,000 people. In September 2012 more fuel was added to the fire as Tom, now 18 years old, began studying Music Production at University in Manchester. Tom has let each beat and every note sink in as he continues to develop and feed off the city and has honed his exciting and energetic sound as he strives forwards towards new challenges, new successes and new people to share his passion for music with.
