Description
Goodnight - There Be Witches
An alternative folk album, themed around the infamous Pendle witch trials of 1612. Taking in influences ranging from Comus to Scott Walker to Jeff Wayne and beyond, the intention for this album was to create a sort of psych-folk-rock opera which tells the story of the unfortunate individuals who lost their lives in such horrific circumstances. Written, produced and performed by Goodnight - one half of psych-folk renegades The Witch And The Robot and genuine descendant of Pendle "witch" Alice Nutter.
